Production Team

Arnold Lim - Director, Producer

An award-winning writer, director and producer. His directorial feature film debut, All-in Madonna (2020) was featured in the Globe and Mail among the five Canadian films in the 2020 Whistler Film Festival, where it had its world premiere. He’s also produced a number of award-winning short films, most notably The Cameraman, which won the Leo Award for Best Short Drama, and Godhead, which premiered at TIFF. Arnold is alumnus of the NSI Features First and the Harold Greenberg Shorts to Feature programs, a multiple-time BC Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts and BravoFact awardee, and two-time recipient of the Telefilm Talent to Watch award. His most recent short OBSCURA / 옵스큐라, won the Director’s Guild of Canada’s Greenlight Award and Best Short Drama and Best Screenplay at the 2024 Leo Awards. A longtime photo and video journalist in Victoria, he’s a Masters candidate in screenwriting at the University of Victoria and a Photography Manager for five Olympic Games.

Lynne Lee - Producer

A Hong Kong-born, Chinese Canadian Marketing Executive-turned- Producer dedicated to promoting underrepresented voices in the film industry in Vancouver and has gravitated towards productions with a Chinese interest (MEDITATION PARK, WINGS OVER EVEREST). Since 2021, Lynne started producing short films incl. MY NAME IS ARNOLD (VAFF 2022 People’s Choice Award winner), music video- short DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE (2022 VIMEO Staff Pick, 2023 SXSW winner), OBSCURA (Leo Awards 2024 winner) Currently producing a Telefilm Talent-To-Watch feature THE CHINATOWN DINER (2025). She is also the Director & Producer of VAFF’s Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon and Treasurer of the Ruby Slippers Theatre Company, creating opportunities to showcase Pan-Asian talent and stories.

Raymond Massey - Executive Producer

Raymond Massey began his filmmaking career in 1983 doing documentaries and pitching TV ads door to door. In 1989 his first film premiered at TIFF while completing a producer residency at the Canadian Film Centre. To date Massey has produced some 35 theatrical, documentary, TV and cable features in varying capacities. Titles include Richard Lewis’ WHALE MUSIC, LIVES OF GIRLS & WOMEN, MY FATHER’S ANGEL, Mina Shum’s MEDITATION PARK and LONG LIFE HAPPINESS & PROSPERITY, Lynne Stopkewich’s SUSPICIOUS RIVER and IRON ROAD, a China-Canada co-production. His latest film, Ann-Marie Fleming’s CAN I GET A WITNESS? world premiered at TIFF 2024.

Robin Chan - Co-Producer

Robin has been producing content for film and television for over a decade. He has produced short films, music videos, promotional videos and the feature films “The Hollow Child” (2017) and “All-In Madonna” (2020). Short films include: “Joanna Makes a Friend” (2011), winner of the Audience Choice Awards at TIFF.kid Film Festival and “Anxious Oswald Greene” (2014), winner of the Best Short Film Award at the LA Comedy Festival and multiple Leo Awards. Robin also works as a post-production supervisor and enjoys helping independent filmmakers navigate the whole process from raw footage to the theatre.
